Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC Le Grub's Bishop Lambourne started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aaron Carr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Gissane in the 5th minute of the match. If Max Gissane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Furkan Sweet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bishop Lambourne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bishop Lambourne in the 13th minute of play forced Duffield United's goalkeeper Furkan Sweet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aaron Carr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Gissane, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Max Gissane in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aaron Carr saved FC Le Grub from getting behind. Max Gissane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Carr having to interfere. Aaron Carr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Gissane in the 21st minute of play. John Calver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Furkan Sweet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Duffield United's goal looked a bit too open when Bishop Lambourne came free, but Furkan Sweet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 minutes of play, Duffield United's Max Gissane made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aaron Carr was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Le Grub's Aaron Carr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Gissane in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Alfred Olejasz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Duffield United's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfred Olejasz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron Carr breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute, Paz Salcedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Duffield United's goalkeeper Furkan Sweet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Hal Schonke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Duffield United's supporters rose to their feet, but Hal Schonke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron Carr breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th match minute, FC Le Grub was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bray Unicomb to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC Le Grub getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. John Calver hit a great ball. In the 64th match minute, Duffield United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Olejasz to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the game, Hank Weeks threw the ball into play from the sideline. Duffield United's Ryan Renshaw quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Ryan Renshaw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aaron Carr stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Max Gissane's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. If Max Gissane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC Le Grub's Aaron Carr proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save FC Le Grub from getting a goal against them. In the 79th minute Hal Schonke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Carr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Max Gissane in the 80th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Aaron Carr kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. If John Calver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Le Grub's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Max Gissane 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. When the final whistle sounded Duffield United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Le Grub.
