The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 played minutes Ridgley got a freekick which was hit by Nathan Prior. In the 11th minute, Earnest Algoud made a precise shot to the right of Fletcher Sylvester. Arka Gdynia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Arka Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Earnest Algoud came free, but Fletcher Sylvester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fletcher Sylvester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Earnest Algoud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danny Barry hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arka Gdynia's goalkeeper Fletcher Sylvester, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nathan Prior charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nathan Prior the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes Ridgley got a freekick which was hit by Nathan Prior. Brice Renny blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Legg having to make a save. Danny Barry hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Connor Rear kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Hale Mcroberts took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Martin Legg. Ridgley's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Ridgley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nathan Prior to maneuver through the defense. Ridgley's Martin Legg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddy Turnbull in the 43rd minute of play. After 44 minutes, Brice Renny mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arka Gdynia and the Ridgley players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ridgley booed when Arka Gdynia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brice Renny didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Martin Legg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddy Turnbull in the 55th minute of play. Martin Legg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brice Renny in the 58th minute of the match. Parker Magrath struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Martin Legg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arka Gdynia. Arka Gdynia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Jacob Connolly scored to the left of an out of position Fletcher Sylvester, making the score, 0-2. 67 minutes into the match, Arka Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Connolly came free, but Fletcher Sylvester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Legg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddy Turnbull, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Rudolph Baptistes short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Fletcher Sylvester to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 72nd minute Eddy Turnbull shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Legg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Parker Magrath in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Legg saved Ridgley from getting behind. A collision led to Arka Gdynia getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Dario Markou hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Nathan Prior hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arka Gdynia's Brice Renny got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Brice Renny off the ground. Brice Renny kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Earnest Algoud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fletcher Sylvester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacob Connolly in the 94th minute of the match. The Ridgley supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ridgley would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
