Caringbah's Lorimer Gissane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nash Bowen in the 11th minute of play. Lorimer Gissane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Drew Pywell, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute Jonathan Castray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorimer Gissane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lorimer Gissane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nash Bowen, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Castray in the 18th minute of play forced Caringbah's goalkeeper Lorimer Gissane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Caringbah's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CYCLIST LIMA ASSOCIATION the free kick. After 57 played minutes Jonathan Castray rounded Caringbah's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. 59 minutes into the game, Bart Ludwick was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bart Ludwick hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Caringbah's goalkeeper Lorimer Gissane had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilhelm Ostwald. 64 minutes into the match, Caringbah's goal looked a bit too open when Drew Pywell came free, but Lorimer Gissane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caringbah's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Jonathan Castray scored to the left of an out of position Lorimer Gissane, making the score, 0-6. In the 73rd minute, CYCLIST LIMA ASSOCIATION's Drew Pywell ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lorimer Gissane. Lorimer Gissane yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Lorimer Gissane made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilhelm Ostwald in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute, Oliver Fessa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Castray in the 80th minute of play forced Caringbah's goalkeeper Lorimer Gissane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Caringbah's Bart Ludwick nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. CYCLIST LIMA ASSOCIATION's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
