In the 9th minute Jonathan Castray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Furkan Sweet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jordon Fortington was a little too slow when Max Gissane got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 15th minute, Max Gissane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Furkan Sweet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Castray, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Duffield United's Paz Salcedo got a free kick in the 41st minute. Duffield United's Furkan Sweet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berry Jeffress in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Duffield United's goal looked a bit too open when Drew Pywell came free, but Furkan Sweet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Oliver Fessa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Furkan Sweet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Wilhelm Ostwald's late challenge caught a Duffield United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilhelm Ostwald helped the player get up and apologised. Wilhelm Ostwald kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Duffield United's Alfred Olejasz got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Max Gissane scored 4-1 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jordon Fortington, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute, CYCLIST LIMA ASSOCIATION's Wilhelm Ostwald ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Furkan Sweet. Furkan Sweet yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. Oliver Fessa kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 82 played minutes, Duffield United's Albert Cameron shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jordon Fortington came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Duffield United reached it. In the 85th minute, Alfred Olejasz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Duffield United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. In the 90th minute, Hal Schonke made a precise shot to the right of Jordon Fortington. CYCLIST LIMA ASSOCIATION's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. Hal Schonke scored 7-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jordon Fortington, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the CYCLIST LIMA ASSOCIATION players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Duffield United.
