Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Brant Kennedy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Russ Macumber was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Brant Kennedy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Russ Macumber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Brant Kennedy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Russ Macumber. Millfield's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brant Kennedy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Arne Millard struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Drew See didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Millfield. In the 19th minute, Goochticklas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Corey Wilde fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Millfield's Arne Millard got a free kick in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, Millfield's Bo Raison got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 23 played minutes, Goochticklas's Larkins Hicks shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Russ Macumber came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Goochticklas reached it. After 28 minutes, Brant Kennedy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goochticklas and the Millfield players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Millfield booed when Goochticklas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brant Kennedy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Drew See was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Corey Wilde showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 29 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rick Rosenboom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Russ Macumber was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arne Millard during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 played minutes Millfield got a freekick which was hit by Arne Millard. Corey Wilde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute Brant Kennedy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Russ Macumber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Russ Macumber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rick Rosenboom in the 44th minute of the match. Russ Macumber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rick Rosenboom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rick Rosenboom was the one to do the kick off. Russ Macumber made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ian Travers in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the match, Millfield's goal looked a bit too open when Rick Rosenboom came free, but Russ Macumber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Darell Cridland during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes Goochticklas got a freekick which was hit by Darell Cridland. Arne Millard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drew See having to interfere. Ian Travers charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ian Travers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ian Travers hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Millfield's Russ Macumber got control of the ball when Brant Kennedy tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rick Rosenboom in the 70th minute of play forced Millfield's goalkeeper Russ Macumber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brant Kennedy received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Russ Macumber came out and tried to block the shot, but Brant Kennedy slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 72nd minute. With a little luck, Millfield's Russ Macumber got control of the ball when Brant Kennedy tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 80 played minutes Millfield got a freekick which was hit by Neal Hursey. Russ Macumber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rick Rosenboom in the 81st minute of the match. Norm Rennie hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Corey Wilde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Millfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Corey Wilde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Drew See breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Millard in the 89th minute of play forced Goochticklas's goalkeeper Drew See to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Corey Wilde came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Millfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Corey Wilde couldn't finish the play. Russ Macumber made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Brant Kennedy sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Rick Rosenboom kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Russ Macumber. That made the score 1-5 in the 94 minute of play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Goochticklas were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Millfield side.
