Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jesse Holdsworth kicked off to start the match. Wit Raszek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesse Holdsworth in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10thth minute of the game Barth Bowman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cabana Motel FC's Wit Raszek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Barth Bowman succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. When Rich Aroege fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cabana Motel FC's protests and gave Rich Aroege a yellow card for diving instead. Rich Aroege kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Barth Bowman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Central Coast Mariners's supporters rose to their feet, but Barth Bowman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wit Raszek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wit Raszek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesse Holdsworth, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. A collision led to Cabana Motel FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Russ Mcmahon hit a great ball. In the 29thth minute of the game Barth Bowman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cabana Motel FC's Wit Raszek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th match minute, Cabana Motel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Kurth to maneuver through the defense. Barth Bowman took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wit Raszek. Wit Raszek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Barth Bowman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wit Raszek having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jesse Holdsworth in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wit Raszek saved Cabana Motel FC from getting behind. After 44 played minutes Cabana Motel FC got a freekick which was hit by Norm Plummer. The supporters of Central Coast Mariners booed when Cabana Motel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rich Aroege didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Grzegorz Parajewski to make the kick off. Elliot Letsch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grzegorz Parajewski's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. After 67 played minutes Cabana Motel FC got a freekick which was hit by Rex Prince. Central Coast Mariners's Jesse Holdsworth shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 69th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Wit Raszek but with some difficulty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jesse Holdsworth in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wit Raszek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Barth Bowman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wit Raszek having to interfere. After having played for 74 minutes, Barth Bowman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Central Coast Mariners's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barth Bowman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76thth minute of the game Jesse Holdsworth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cabana Motel FC's Wit Raszek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barth Bowman got free with Wit Raszek in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jesse Holdsworth took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wit Raszek. Wit Raszek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 92nd minute Jesse Holdsworth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wit Raszek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cabana Motel FC's Rich Aroege got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Barth Bowman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wit Raszek. That made the score 0-4 in the 96 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Central Coast Mariners left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cabana Motel FC.
