Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Max Gissane started the match with the kick off. Ryan Renshaw kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th match minute, Caringbah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quincy Warhurst to maneuver through the defense. Lorimer Gissane came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Duffield United's Max Gissane. But to his dismay, Max Gissane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfred Olejasz in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lorimer Gissane prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute Ryan Renshaw shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorimer Gissane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bart Ludwick who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Furkan Sweet when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 16 minutes into the game, Max Gissane cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Lorimer Gissane was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 20 minutes in the game Carlos Gannan did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Nathaniel Favas. Lorimer Gissane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Gissane in the 21st minute of the match. Bart Ludwick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Furkan Sweet having to interfere. Max Gissane scored 0-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lorimer Gissane, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Max Gissane might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lorimer Gissane. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Max Gissane ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Gissane in the 45th minute of play forced Caringbah's goalkeeper Lorimer Gissane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bart Ludwick to strike the kick off in the second half. Antony Schonke hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Duffield United's Max Gissane got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Navin Borserio hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. If Jacobs Will had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Max Gissane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Duffield United getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Alfred Olejasz hit a great ball. Max Gissane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Lorimer Gissane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Max Gissane fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lorimer Gissane, passed just outside the right post. Carlos Gannan made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Duffield United's Bleyd Cudmore. Bleyd Cudmore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorimer Gissane having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, Paz Salcedo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lorimer Gissane. Paz Salcedo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. In the 89th match minute, Caringbah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quincy Warhurst to maneuver through the defense. Max Gissane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorimer Gissane having to interfere. When Antony Schonke fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caringbah's protests and gave Antony Schonke a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Antony Schonke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Max Gissane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the game, Jacobs Will was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Duffield United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caringbah the free kick. Jacobs Will hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. A collision led to Duffield United getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Ryan Renshaw hit a great ball. Duffield United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
