The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ernest Tearle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Jamie Quinane made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Ernest Tearle took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jamie Quinane to make any attempt to save it. In the 27th minute Ernest Tearle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jamie Quinane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes of play, Swan Valley FC's Ernest Tearle made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jamie Quinane was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 37 minutes, Benney Bowen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swan Valley FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benney Bowen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jamie Quinane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clarke Reisz in the 40th minute of play. OzForce TNT's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Clarke Reisz scored to the left of an out of position Jamie Quinane, making the score, 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Berke Bailey to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, OzForce TNT's goal looked a bit too open when Clarke Reisz came free, but Jamie Quinane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernest Tearle in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jamie Quinane prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Swan Valley FC fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Swan Valley FC's Clarke Reisz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Ernest Tearle sped through OzForce TNT's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jamie Quinane. Jamie Quinane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregory Atkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The supporters of Swan Valley FC booed when OzForce TNT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barney Starling didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernest Tearle in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jamie Quinane saved OzForce TNT from getting behind. Jamie Quinane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clarke Reisz in the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Bray Day shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jamie Quinane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
