When Ocean Pacific's Bray Grigson in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Swan Valley FC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernest Tearle during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bob Tinsley's late challenge caught a Ocean Pacific's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bob Tinsley helped the player get up and apologised. Tord Tholsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bray Grigson in the 16th minute of the match. Irving Turnbull made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benney Bowen in the 18th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Ocean Pacific's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Tarrant came free, but Irving Turnbull reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Ocean Pacific's Irving Turnbull got control of the ball when Benney Bowen tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Ernest Tearle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clarke Reisz in the 37th minute of play forced Ocean Pacific's goalkeeper Irving Turnbull to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Irving Turnbull made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benney Bowen in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ocean Pacific's zone, Ernest Tearle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Irving Turnbull came out of the goal and Ernest Tearle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernest Tearle's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Irving Turnbull firmly grabbed it by the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bray Grigson to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Ocean Pacific's goal looked a bit too open when Clarke Reisz came free, but Irving Turnbull reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benney Bowen in the 58th minute of play forced Ocean Pacific's goalkeeper Irving Turnbull to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bray Grigson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Tord Tholsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ocean Pacific's Irving Turnbull played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Tarrant in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ocean Pacific's Myles Kuch got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute Benney Bowen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irving Turnbull saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Irving Turnbull showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clarke Reisz, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ocean Pacific's zone, Gregory Atkin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Irving Turnbull came out of the goal and Gregory Atkin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benney Bowen charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benney Bowen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benney Bowen kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Ocean Pacific made a substitution. Larkin Christian replaced Barth Willding. A collision led to Swan Valley FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Benney Bowen hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Rusty Hoey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bray Day was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 87th minute Gregory Atkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irving Turnbull saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 89 minutes, Ernest Tearle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swan Valley FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernest Tearle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Oreilly during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonathan Oreilly kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Swan Valley FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
