The audience was convinced that Bray Grigson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andres King was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Everett Rowdon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 16 played minutes Ocean Pacific got a freekick which was hit by Bray Grigson. If Bray Grigson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Bray Grigson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andres King. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. In the 24th minute, Everett Rowdon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andres King was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Irving Turnbull showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Hunn, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Bray Grigson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Andres King made a huge save. In the 39th minute Bray Grigson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres King saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bray Grigson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Andres King skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 77 played minutes Ocean Pacific got a freekick which was hit by Everett Rowdon. Angelo Hunn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ocean Pacific's Irving Turnbull proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Ocean Pacific from getting a goal against them. If Angelo Hunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ocean Pacific's Bray Grigson got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ocean Pacific had won after a very even match.
