Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ellis Hoskin made the kick off and thus started the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ellis Hoskin during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th match minute, Finley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ellis Hoskin to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Finley's Nick Palmington got a free kick in the 6th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Casper Carlisle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Farleigh's supporters rose to their feet, but Casper Carlisle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reese Czaczka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 11th minute, Bern Beverley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Farleigh fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The Farleigh fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Farleigh's Casper Carlisle looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ellis Hoskin was shown his second yellow card after 23 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ellis Hoskin kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. When Bern Beverley fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Farleigh's protests and gave Bern Beverley a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Farleigh's Bern Beverley got a free kick in the 29th minute. Bert Diehl made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Conner Perrett sent off a good shot on target. When Conner Perrett came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Finley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conner Perrett couldn't finish the play. Reese Czaczka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casper Carlisle in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46thth minute of the game Casper Carlisle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Finley's Reese Czaczka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bert Diehl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Conner Perrett in the 48th minute. After the first half Farleigh were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bern Beverley made a kick off. Reese Czaczka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bern Beverley in the 57th minute of play. Conner Perrett struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Bert Diehl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Finley. A collision led to Finley getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Conner Perrett hit a great ball. In the 64th minute Bern Beverley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reese Czaczka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Boyde Renny came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Finley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boyde Renny couldn't finish the play. Reese Czaczka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bern Beverley, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Bern Beverley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Reese Czaczka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Brendan Mcinnis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Farleigh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Finley the free kick. After 73 played minutes, Finley's Boyde Renny shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bert Diehl came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Finley reached it. 83 minutes into the match, Bern Beverley dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Reese Czaczka, 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Finley's zone, Casper Carlisle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reese Czaczka came out of the goal and Casper Carlisle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the game, Farleigh's Casper Carlisle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reese Czaczka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Reese Czaczka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Casper Carlisle in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute, Finley's Randall Smee seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Randall Smee the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Finley protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Randall Smee had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Finley fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! The Finley supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Farleigh's performance. The match ended with a win for Farleigh.
