Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Benedict Jackson made the kick off which started today's match. With a little luck, Moongobulla's Ringo Curtis got control of the ball when Lance Stanton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ringo Curtis made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Benedict Jackson sent off a good shot on target. 14 minutes into the match, Moongobulla's goalkeeper Ringo Curtis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lance Stanton. Archie Stebbing was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 15 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, one of Moongobulla:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Moongobulla. Lance Stanton shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Moongobulla's goalkeeper Ringo Curtis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 27 minutes into the game, Benedict Jackson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ringo Curtis. Benedict Jackson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lance Stanton in the 31st minute of play forced Moongobulla's goalkeeper Ringo Curtis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 played minutes Kevington got a freekick which was hit by Eden Lowes. In the 38th minute, Stephan Mccarthy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moongobulla's Ringo Curtis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Crawford Bohn in the 41st minute of play. Dan Pearman charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dan Pearman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dan Pearman kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Ringo Curtis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dan Pearman made a kick off. Roland Stanton made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Dan Pearman sent off a good shot on target. Ringo Curtis came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Kevington's Benedict Jackson. But to his dismay, Benedict Jackson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Dan Pearman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dan Pearman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Roland Stanton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Moongobulla got a freekick which was hit by Bryanne Foley. Ringo Curtis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Crawford Bohn in the 70th minute of the match. Dan Pearman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Roland Stanton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Crane charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peter Crane the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Peter Crane hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 84th match minute, Kevington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Crawford Bohn to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Moongobulla's zone, Benedict Jackson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ringo Curtis came out of the goal and Benedict Jackson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the game, Neale Kiel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kevington's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moongobulla the free kick. Neale Kiel hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Dan Pearman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Stanton having to interfere. Kevington's Roland Stanton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Pearman in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Darryl Walkington hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Moongobulla defense, Crawford Bohn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ringo Curtis. The Moongobulla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ringo Curtis should have stopped the shot.
