Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bern Beverley started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 9 played minutes Kevington got a freekick which was hit by Eden Lowes. Lance Stanton's late challenge caught a Farleigh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lance Stanton helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Farleigh booed when Kevington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lance Stanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Benedict Jackson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Casper Carlisle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Roland Stanton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Farleigh's Bert Diehl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lance Stanton in the 29th minute of play. In the 31stth minute of the game Benedict Jackson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Farleigh's Bert Diehl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Benedict Jackson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Farleigh's Bert Diehl. Bert Diehl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 39 minutes into the match, Farleigh's goal looked a bit too open when Crawford Bohn came free, but Bert Diehl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Bern Beverley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Farleigh's supporters rose to their feet, but Bern Beverley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland Stanton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roland Stanton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bern Beverley, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
In the 57th minute, Casper Carlisle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roland Stanton was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Bern Beverley might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roland Stanton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bern Beverley ran back to his position shaking his head. Bert Diehl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Crawford Bohn in the 64th minute of the match. Casper Carlisle charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Casper Carlisle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Benedict Jackson sped through Farleigh's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bert Diehl. Roland Stanton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casper Carlisle in the 74th minute of the match. If Casper Carlisle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kevington's Roland Stanton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casper Carlisle in the 78th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Kevington's zone, Bern Beverley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Stanton came out of the goal and Bern Beverley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute Casper Carlisle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Stanton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Farleigh booed when Kevington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bart Hayward didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roland Stanton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casper Carlisle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Farleigh's Bern Beverley got a free kick in the 85th minute. If Benedict Jackson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kevington eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
