Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andres Kreck started the match with the kick off. Berkeley Trevena came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Goal Fc's Mario Domeka. But to his dismay, Mario Domeka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 7 minutes into the game, Goal Fc's George Freeman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Berkeley Trevena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Cockatoo's Berkeley Trevena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Domeka in the 11th minute of play. Goal Fc's Carlisle Askew played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesse Voller in the 12th minute of play. After 17 minutes of play, Goal Fc's George Freeman made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Berkeley Trevena was left in no man's land by his defense there! Berkeley Trevena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Freeman in the 20th minute of play. Cockatoo's Berkeley Trevena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Domeka in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Cockatoo's goal looked a bit too open when Berkeley Wharton came free, but Berkeley Trevena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Berkeley Trevena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Freeman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Rod Hodson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Berkeley Trevena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute, Mario Domeka left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Goal Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 36th minute Berkeley Wharton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berkeley Trevena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andres Kreck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Carlisle Askew tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jesse Voller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Carlisle Askew made a huge save. When Mitchell Palmington fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goal Fc's protests and gave Mitchell Palmington a yellow card for diving instead. Mitchell Palmington kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Goal Fc were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Domeka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dalwood Lenard hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute of the match Ned Kepert shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlisle Askew showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Berkeley Wharton scored 0-6 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Berkeley Trevena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Berkeley Trevena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Berkeley Wharton in the 58th minute. After 62 minutes, Jamie Collins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goal Fc and the Cockatoo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Goal Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Freeman to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Cockatoo's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Domeka came free, but Berkeley Trevena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Cockatoo's Berkeley Trevena got control of the ball when Berkeley Wharton tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 73 played minutes Cockatoo got a freekick which was hit by Jesse Voller. Rod Hodson came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Berkeley Trevena could save by the left post. Berkeley Trevena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Freeman, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute George Freeman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berkeley Trevena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute George Freeman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berkeley Trevena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berkeley Trevena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Freeman, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute George Freeman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berkeley Trevena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berkeley Trevena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Domeka in the 87th minute of the match. Berkeley Trevena made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when George Freeman sent off a good shot on target. Berkeley Wharton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Berkeley Trevena made a huge save. Andres Kreck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlisle Askew having to interfere. When the match was over Goal Fc could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cockatoo throughout the match.
