Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Benedict Jackson kicked off to start the match. When Carson Christina fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Westmere's protests and gave Carson Christina a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacob Wright during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 20 played minutes Kevington got a freekick which was hit by Jacob Wright. Lance Stanton scored 1-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Russell Knaack, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kevington's Roland Stanton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamese Tebby in the 25th minute of play. Benedict Jackson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Russell Knaack made a huge save. 28 minutes into the match, Crawford Bohn dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Russell Knaack, 2-0. Westmere's Russell Knaack proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Westmere from getting a goal against them. Crawford Bohn received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Russell Knaack came out and tried to block the shot, but Crawford Bohn slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 32nd minute. Jamese Tebby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Roland Stanton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Kevington got a freekick which was hit by Jacob Wright. After 39 minutes Kevington's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carson Christina who took care of the corner kick. Carson Christina made a great header on Westmere's corner, it was just that Kevington's Roland Stanton managed to reach the ball for a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Jamese Tebby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Westmere's supporters rose to their feet, but Jamese Tebby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland Stanton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd minute, Kevington's Benedict Jackson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jamese Tebby in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roland Stanton saved Kevington from getting behind.
The wind increased when Jamese Tebby made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lance Stanton in the 54th minute of play forced Westmere's goalkeeper Russell Knaack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Westmere's goal looked a bit too open when Lance Stanton came free, but Russell Knaack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Westmere's Barth Reynolds got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The supporters of Westmere booed when Kevington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bart Hayward didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kevington's Benedict Jackson got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Russell Knaack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Crawford Bohn in the 69th minute of the match. Benedict Jackson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Crawford Bohn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Russell Knaack having to interfere. Russell Knaack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Crawford Bohn in the 81st minute of the match. After 81 minutes, Fletcher Pegler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Westmere and the Kevington players grew even worse after the yellow card. Westmere's Russell Knaack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lance Stanton in the 86th minute of play. Russell Knaack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Crawford Bohn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Russell Knaack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Crawford Bohn, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Westmere's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
