He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Perth Glory reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Byron Stevenson in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Darren Moorby saved Bargies FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danton Knaack in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Darren Moorby prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Bargies FC defense, Danton Knaack kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Darren Moorby. The Bargies FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Darren Moorby should have stopped the shot. In the 15th minute Danton Knaack shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darren Moorby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Kirkham hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Danton Knaack might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Darren Moorby. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danton Knaack ran back to his position shaking his head. Benson Bromfield hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Jaffery Hayward showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keith Deeth, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Danton Knaack received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Darren Moorby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lawrence Spinder's late challenge caught a Bargies FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lawrence Spinder helped the player get up and apologised. Jaffery Hayward showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keith Deeth in the 31st minute of the match. Keith Deeth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Jaffery Hayward tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 played minutes Bargies FC got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Kirkham. Abe Diehl's late challenge caught a Perth Glory's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abe Diehl helped the player get up and apologised. Benjamin Kirkham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Danton Knaack made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Keith Deeth had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jaffery Hayward. Perth Glory's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Keith Deeth was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Benson Bromfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaffery Hayward showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benson Bromfield in the 62nd minute of the match. Danton Knaack charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danton Knaack the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Perth Glory got a freekick which was hit by Danton Knaack. After a defensive mix-up in Perth Glory's zone, Keith Deeth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaffery Hayward came out of the goal and Keith Deeth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Darren Moorby didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lawrence Spinder went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Alan Blestowe kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Perth Glory's goal looked a bit too open when Keith Deeth came free, but Jaffery Hayward reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernard Sugden charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernard Sugden the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernard Sugden kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Byron Stevenson got free with Darren Moorby in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Keith Deeth came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Bargies FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Keith Deeth couldn't finish the play.
