An unexpectedly hard shot by Brye Bailey in the 5th minute of play forced Wowagin's goalkeeper Rufus Powderham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stewart Bailey in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rufus Powderham prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8th minute of the match, Ringo Limmer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arty Bleazard saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Herbert Paddle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stewart Bailey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Rufus Powderham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kybongs's Brye Bailey in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wowagin's goalie prevented a goal. In the 18th minute, Wowagin's Ringo Limmer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arty Bleazard. Arty Bleazard yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Kybongs's Arty Bleazard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ringo Limmer in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Wowagin booed when Kybongs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Paddle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kybongs's Arty Bleazard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ringo Limmer in the 25th minute of play. Kent Spurr's late challenge caught a Wowagin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kent Spurr helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th minute, Kent Spurr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute of the match Berny Mueller sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arty Bleazard skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brye Bailey in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rufus Powderham saved Wowagin from getting behind. 34 minutes into the match, Kybongs's Martyon Benson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rufus Powderham narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rodd Lord fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufus Powderham having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Wowagin's goal looked a bit too open when Stewart Bailey came free, but Rufus Powderham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Kybongs booed when Wowagin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murdock Willding didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Wowagin's goalie and right to Andre Eastman. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Wowagin's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a rather tough play, Kybongs's Andre Eastman got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Wowagin's zone, Stewart Bailey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rufus Powderham came out of the goal and Stewart Bailey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rufus Powderham stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herbert Paddle's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brye Bailey was the one to do the kick off. Rufus Powderham made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Brye Bailey sent off a good shot on target. Murdock Willding hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Herbert Paddle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Kybongs's goal looked a bit too open when Jaffery Simpson came free, but Arty Bleazard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brye Bailey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kirby Barry during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Wowagin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kirby Barry to maneuver through the defense. Rodd Lord fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufus Powderham having to interfere. Arty Bleazard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ringo Limmer in the 85th minute of play. Murdock Willding was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Stewart Bailey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Wowagin were victorious despite being under pressure from Kybongs for much of the match.
