Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Buck Fordham started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Burrowye were furious when Herbert Mclatchey was red carded, 7 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 6 minutes into the game, one of Burrowye:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bishop Weatherby shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Clark Yard in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tiger Mealmaker, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Matt Tauschke kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Clark Yard struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Tiger Mealmaker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burrowye. Buck Fordham blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albert Simpson having to make a save. When Bishop Weatherby came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Dunvegan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bishop Weatherby couldn't finish the play. Buck Fordham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dunvegan's Bishop Weatherby got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd match minute, Burrowye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Al Ancell to maneuver through the defense. Albert Simpson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bishop Weatherby, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clark Yard was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute Bishop Weatherby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Simpson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bishop Weatherby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Dunvegan's Buck Fordham sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albert Simpson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Buck Fordham took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Albert Simpson to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Bishop Weatherby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dunvegan's supporters rose to their feet, but Bishop Weatherby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albert Simpson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Burrowye's Albert Simpson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Burrowye from getting a goal against them. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dunvegan walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
