Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dagan Delahide made the kick off which started today's match. Eavan Missen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Norman Reiter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Flinders's Davey Haslem in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Prospect's goalie prevented a goal. If Eavan Missen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eavan Missen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Norman Reiter having to make a save. Norman Reiter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Davey Haslem's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eavan Missen in the 19th minute of play forced Prospect's goalkeeper Norman Reiter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eavan Missen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norman Reiter having to interfere. Edmundson Goodwin kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. The supporters of Flinders booed when Prospect was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilson Cudmore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flinders's Edmundson Goodwin got his second yellow card of the match in the 29th minute. The referee ordered Edmundson Goodwin off the ground. The supporters of Prospect booed when Flinders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundson Goodwin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Parker Fasey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Brynn Staggard made a huge save. If Casper Obree had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norman Reiter came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Flinders's Davey Haslem. But to his dismay, Davey Haslem quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Davey Haslem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flinders's supporters rose to their feet, but Davey Haslem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norman Reiter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Davey Haslem's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norman Reiter was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Flinders's Everitt Goodward got a free kick in the 46th minute. The Prospect players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Flinders were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Davey Haslem made a kick off. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Davey Haslem got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 54 played minutes Prospect got a freekick which was hit by Dale Tarrant. Nilson Cudmore kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Dagan Delahide recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Flinders fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! Brook Bonham kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Brynn Staggard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dagan Delahide went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Brynn Staggard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagan Delahide, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Norman Reiter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Davey Haslem in the 85th minute. Brynn Staggard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagan Delahide in the 89th minute of play. Prospect's Dagan Delahide got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Parker Fasey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, Prospect could leave the field as winners, despite Flinders having more of the ball for most of the match.
