Kybongs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Prospect the free kick. In the 7th minute, Kevin Cooney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute of the match Parker Bostock shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arty Bleazard showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arty Bleazard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brook Bonham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Prospect's goalkeeper Norman Reiter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Kybongs's Ren Lenard got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Arty Bleazard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Parker Fasey went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Arty Bleazard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brook Bonham in the 39th minute of the match. Parker Fasey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kybongs's Arty Bleazard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagan Delahide in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kybongs's Ren Lenard got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Dagan Delahide left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Prospect fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Parker Fasey got free with Arty Bleazard in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stewart Bailey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute Dagan Delahide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arty Bleazard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arty Bleazard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagan Delahide in the 61st minute of play. If Stewart Bailey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arty Bleazard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagan Delahide, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 73 minutes into the game, Dagan Delahide recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arty Bleazard. Dagan Delahide showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. 77 minutes into the match, Kybongs's goalkeeper Arty Bleazard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Parker Fasey. When Herbert Paddle fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kybongs's protests and gave Herbert Paddle a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th match minute, Kybongs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Paddle to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Parker Fasey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Prospect fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. If Dagan Delahide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Prospect supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Prospect would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
