After 33 minutes, Calvin Dowsing mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bargies FC and the Wowagin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benson Bromfield might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rufus Powderham. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benson Bromfield ran back to his position shaking his head. Benson Bromfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Rufus Powderham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bargies FC's Keith Deeth got a free kick in the 77th minute. Rufus Powderham made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Benson Bromfield sent off a good shot on target. If Benson Bromfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bargies FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rodd Mudie in the 88th minute. Bargies FC's Rodd Mudie was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rufus Powderham in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Benson Bromfield could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Rufus Powderham made a huge save. After having played for 91 minutes, Benjamin Kirkham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bargies FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Kirkham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Wowagin's Rufus Powderham got control of the ball when Benson Bromfield tried to sneak it across the goal line.
