In the 89th minute of the match, Corder Pavkovic tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rufus Powderham saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 93 minutes into the match, Corder Pavkovic dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rufus Powderham, 0-3. Perth Glory's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
