Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ringo Limmer started the match with the kick off. Rufus Powderham made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Parker Fasey sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Prospect booed when Wowagin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berny Mueller didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 played minutes Prospect got a freekick which was hit by Dwight Sayner. 15 minutes into the match, Wowagin's goal looked a bit too open when Dagan Delahide came free, but Rufus Powderham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Wowagin's goalkeeper Rufus Powderham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Parker Fasey. With a little luck, Wowagin's Rufus Powderham got control of the ball when Parker Fasey tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Prospect's Dagan Delahide in 20 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Rufus Powderham guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Norman Reiter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaffery Simpson, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Dagan Delahide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufus Powderham having to interfere. After 30 played minutes Wowagin got a freekick which was hit by Murdock Willding. The crowd rose to their feet as Dagan Delahide kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rufus Powderham. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. After 33 minutes, Dwight Sayner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Prospect and the Wowagin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dagan Delahide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Parker Fasey struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Rufus Powderham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prospect. The supporters of Prospect booed when Wowagin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berny Mueller didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dagan Delahide to strike the kick off in the second half. Dagan Delahide blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rufus Powderham having to make a save. When Bishop Burmeister fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wowagin's protests and gave Bishop Burmeister a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th minute, Bishop Burmeister hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dagan Delahide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Rufus Powderham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rufus Powderham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dagan Delahide in the 65th minute of the match. Parker Fasey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufus Powderham having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Murdock Willding was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wowagin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Prospect the free kick. In the 68th minute, Murdock Willding hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rufus Powderham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dwight Sayner in the 72nd minute of play. After 73 minutes of play, Prospect's Dagan Delahide made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rufus Powderham was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dagan Delahide might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rufus Powderham. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dagan Delahide ran back to his position shaking his head. 83 minutes into the game, Brook Bonham was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Prospect's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wowagin the free kick. Brook Bonham kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Wowagin's Phil Fallen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 84th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Prospect. After a defensive mix-up in Wowagin's zone, Dagan Delahide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rufus Powderham came out of the goal and Dagan Delahide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Parker Fasey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufus Powderham having to interfere. In the 97th match minute, Wowagin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kirby Barry to maneuver through the defense. 98 minutes into the match, Wowagin's goal looked a bit too open when Dagan Delahide came free, but Rufus Powderham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Prospect were the better team. Prospect's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
