Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) After having played for 5 minutes, Danny Terris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brisbane FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danny Terris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Hunterton's Brookes Beale got control of the ball when Burns Bennett tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Brisbane FC's goal looked a bit too open when Duffield Crawford came free, but Burns Notley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Payton Thomas in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Burns Notley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute, Duffield Crawford made a precise shot to the right of Burns Notley. Brisbane FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Burns Notley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duffield Crawford in the 23rd minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Brisbane FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Biddle Sparks to maneuver through the defense. Brookes Beale made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Danny Terris sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Brisbane FC's Biddle Sparks got a free kick in the 28th minute. Bill Crane took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Burns Notley. Brisbane FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Burns Bennett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brisbane FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Burns Bennett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brookes Beale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute, Edgar Brading hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Burns Notley came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Hunterton's Payton Thomas. But to his dismay, Payton Thomas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Brisbane FC's Howie Shipp got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Burns Notley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duffield Crawford in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bill Crane to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Hunterton booed when Brisbane FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Howie Shipp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hunterton's Brookes Beale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davey Pack in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th match minute, Brisbane FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Biddle Sparks to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the game, Hunterton's Duffield Crawford nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Burns Notley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Burns Notley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benny King in the 61st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Brisbane FC's Biddle Sparks got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute Duffield Crawford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Burns Notley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brookes Beale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burns Bennett in the 67th minute of the match. Bill Crane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brisbane FC's Burns Notley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duffield Crawford in the 75th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Bill Crane kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Burns Notley. That made the score 0-4 in the 77 minute of play. The supporters of Brisbane FC booed when Hunterton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caine Miels didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bill Crane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burns Notley having to interfere. Burns Notley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Duffield Crawford in the 90th minute. Burns Notley was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bill Crane showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 92 minute of play. Burns Notley made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Duffield Crawford sent off a good shot on target. The Hunterton supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hunterton would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
