Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Brock Bodimeade took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Byrne Dowsing cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Browne Muncaster was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Byaduk's Browne Muncaster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brock Bodimeade in the 6th minute of play. Jerrard Aistrope kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Hagley's Brock Bodimeade in the 11th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Browne Muncaster was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Byaduk through an amazing save. Browne Muncaster made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ringo Maunsell in the 13th minute. In the 14thth minute of the game Kris Reiter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hagley's Kevin Pearce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Ringo Maunsell notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Byaduk's Browne Muncaster. Browne Muncaster was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 30th minute, Brock Bodimeade made a precise shot to the right of Browne Muncaster. Byaduk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 33rd minute Brock Bodimeade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Browne Muncaster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ringo Maunsell's late challenge caught a Byaduk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ringo Maunsell helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hagley getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ringo Maunsell hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Byaduk's zone, Oliver Kreck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Browne Muncaster came out of the goal and Oliver Kreck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Browne Muncaster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neil Pukallus in the 41st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Byaduk defense, Brock Bodimeade kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Browne Muncaster. The Byaduk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Browne Muncaster should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Ringo Maunsell could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Browne Muncaster however easily saved by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kris Reiter made a kick off. Ringo Maunsell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Browne Muncaster having to interfere. In the 58th minute Ringo Maunsell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Browne Muncaster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerrard Aistrope charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jerrard Aistrope the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute, Jerrard Aistrope hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Browne Muncaster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ringo Maunsell in the 62nd minute of play. Potter Fynn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kevin Pearce having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Potter Fynn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Byaduk's supporters rose to their feet, but Potter Fynn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kevin Pearce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The long shot by Marshal Sennett in the 73rd minute really tested Kevin Pearce's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kris Reiter in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kevin Pearce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Browne Muncaster came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Hagley's Brock Bodimeade. But to his dismay, Brock Bodimeade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Browne Muncaster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brock Bodimeade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Ellis Rowdon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Brock Bodimeade left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hagley fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. In the 89th minute, Brock Bodimeade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Browne Muncaster was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. 95 minutes into the match, Byaduk's goal looked a bit too open when Brock Bodimeade came free, but Browne Muncaster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
