Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bern Pears got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 6 minutes, Raymond James managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Devils United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raymond James was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Barnes Hunter made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Arnold Adamson sent off a good shot on target. In the 9th minute, Bruce Withy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barnes Hunter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruce Withy in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Red Devils United's goalkeeper Barnes Hunter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruce Withy. Bruce Withy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Red Devils United's goal looked a bit too open when Jemmett Finden came free, but Barnes Hunter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Al Angell made in the 24th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Raymond James however managed to control. Red Devils United's Bruno Arkinstall got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bern Pears charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bern Pears the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Wallacia booed when Red Devils United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bern Pears didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barnes Hunter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruce Withy, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 40th match minute, Red Devils United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Archie Clubley to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th match minute, Wallacia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dwight Johnson to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Bruce Withy reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Barnes Hunter. The goal made the score 1-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnold Adamson to strike the kick off in the second half. Red Devils United's Barnes Hunter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnold Adamson in the 57th minute of play. If Arnold Adamson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruce Withy in the 70th minute of play forced Red Devils United's goalkeeper Barnes Hunter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Red Devils United booed when Wallacia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jemmett Finden didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wallacia's Jones Rosenboom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Wallacia from getting a goal against them. Barnes Hunter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnold Adamson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Bruce Withy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Barnes Hunter was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Brice Didlock charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brice Didlock the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Red Devils United's Brice Didlock got a free kick in the 85th minute. After 86 played minutes Wallacia got a freekick which was hit by Jemmett Finden. After 88 played minutes Wallacia got a freekick which was hit by Bruce Withy. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruce Withy in the 90th minute of play forced Red Devils United's goalkeeper Barnes Hunter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barnes Hunter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruce Withy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Wallacia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
