With an all-out effort, Hellscream's Brookes Beale threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Brown Tisdell, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Hellscream's Jess Fenwick in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Edmonds Didlock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Payton Thomas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 23 minutes into the game, when Carter Ziliotto put in a rough tackle. With his leg Brookes Beale managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Hellscream's Jess Fenwick fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Brown Tisdell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Brookes Beale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hellscream's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bray Harkness in the 34th minute. It was a well-played corner which Philip Bacon managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Hellscream's Edmonds Didlock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Payton Thomas in the 37th minute of play. Benny King took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmonds Didlock. Edmonds Didlock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bill Crane in the 43rd minute of play forced Hellscream's goalkeeper Edmonds Didlock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brookes Beale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jess Fenwick's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Payton Thomas in the 47th minute of play forced Hellscream's goalkeeper Edmonds Didlock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bill Crane to make the kick off. Payton Thomas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Edmonds Didlock skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 53rd match minute, Hellscream was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bray Harkness to maneuver through the defense. Jess Fenwick scored 1-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brookes Beale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bill Crane in the 65th minute of play forced Hellscream's goalkeeper Edmonds Didlock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Hunterton's Duffield Crawford slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edmonds Didlock. That made the score 1-3 after 70 minutes of play. Edmonds Didlock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bill Crane, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute, Brown Tisdell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Hellscream defense, Duffield Crawford kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmonds Didlock. The Hellscream fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmonds Didlock should have stopped the shot. Bill Crane received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edmonds Didlock came out and tried to block the shot, but Bill Crane slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 90th minute. The supporters of Hunterton booed when Hellscream was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bray Harkness didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hunterton's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
