Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5875, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Darren Limmer got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Hernani Sydney's goal looked a bit too open when Byrne Dowsing came free, but Randell Warhurst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brock Bodimeade in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Randell Warhurst saved Hernani Sydney from getting behind. A collision led to Hagley getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Byron Macumber hit a great ball. Sam Maybury fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Pearce having to interfere. Hagley's Kevin Pearce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darren Limmer in the 13th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Sam Maybury managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hernani Sydney's supporters rose to their feet, but Sam Maybury was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kevin Pearce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 16 minutes into the match, Hernani Sydney's goal looked a bit too open when Brock Bodimeade came free, but Randell Warhurst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Randell Warhurst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brock Bodimeade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the game, Ringo Maunsell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Randell Warhurst was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 29 minutes, Ringo Maunsell made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Hernani Sydney's Randell Warhurst tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute, Ringo Maunsell made a precise shot to the right of Randell Warhurst. Hernani Sydney's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After some careless play in the Hernani Sydney defense, Brock Bodimeade kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Randell Warhurst. The Hernani Sydney fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Randell Warhurst should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Brock Bodimeade made the kick off in the second half. Hernani Sydney's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Brock Bodimeade scored to the left of an out of position Randell Warhurst, making the score, 0-5. Ringo Maunsells short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Randell Warhurst to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Caine Mcinnes kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Brock Bodimeade in the 59th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Caine Mcinnes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Oliver Kreck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hagley's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliver Kreck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Randell Warhurst breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ringo Maunsell got free with Randell Warhurst in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute, Hagley's Ringo Maunsell ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Randell Warhurst. Randell Warhurst yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Braedan Powley kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. With a little luck, Hernani Sydney's Randell Warhurst got control of the ball when Ringo Maunsell tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Hernani Sydney defense, Ringo Maunsell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Randell Warhurst. The Hernani Sydney fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Randell Warhurst should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Hagley's Ringo Maunsell got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hagley's goalkeeper Kevin Pearce, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 87 minutes into the game, Oliver Kreck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hagley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hernani Sydney the free kick. Oliver Kreck kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Brock Bodimeade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Braedan Powley's late challenge caught a Hagley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Braedan Powley helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hagley booed when Hernani Sydney was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braedan Powley didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute of the match Neil Pukallus sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Randell Warhurst skillfully saved the ball. The Hernani Sydney fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hagley were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
