Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carson Starling started the match with the kick off. Browne Muncaster made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Carson Starling sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Couzens in the 6th minute of play forced Coolimba's goalkeeper Bernard Telfer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steve Mcquinn might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Browne Muncaster. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Steve Mcquinn ran back to his position shaking his head. After 10 played minutes Byaduk got a freekick which was hit by Jerrard Aistrope. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carson Starling got free with Browne Muncaster in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 13 minutes, Alex Heberle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coolimba and the Byaduk players grew even worse after the yellow card. 12 minutes into the game, one of Coolimba:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 17 minutes into the match, Carson Starling had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Browne Muncaster. Byaduk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carson Starling was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 21 played minutes Carson Starling rounded Byaduk's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. 23 minutes into the match, Carson Starling dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Browne Muncaster, 3-1. In the 29th minute Carson Starling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Browne Muncaster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Steve Mcquinn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Browne Muncaster was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Byaduk's Browne Muncaster got control of the ball when Carson Starling tried to sneak it across the goal line. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Byaduk's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Birrell Addison was slow to take the kick. During this time Coolimba's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Birrell Addison almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Byaduk's Browne Muncaster did a great save. In the 40th minute, Carson Starling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Byaduk's Browne Muncaster got control of the ball when Steve Mcquinn tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Coolimba's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Couzens came free, but Bernard Telfer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carson Starling during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kris Reiter to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kris Reiter in the 54th minute of play forced Coolimba's goalkeeper Bernard Telfer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Byaduk's Browne Muncaster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carson Starling in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carson Starling in the 59th minute of play forced Byaduk's goalkeeper Browne Muncaster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Browne Muncaster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carson Starling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute Damian Couzens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernard Telfer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brookes Ramsay's late challenge caught a Byaduk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brookes Ramsay helped the player get up and apologised. Brookes Ramsay kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If Potter Fynn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Bernard Telfer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bernard Telfer was a little too slow when Damian Couzens got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 4-2. Aden Worrall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Bernard Telfer made a huge save. In the 80th minute, Coolimba's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aden Worrall fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Browne Muncaster didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bevis Facey went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Carson Starling took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Browne Muncaster. Browne Muncaster dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. In the 91st minute, Milton Miels made a precise shot to the right of Browne Muncaster. Byaduk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Byaduk players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Coolimba.
