Seating: 1886, VIP seats: 164) Edison Deeth started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 5 played minutes Wallacia got a freekick which was hit by Russ Cooney. Jones Rosenboom came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Tresco's Edison Deeth. But to his dismay, Edison Deeth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 14th minute, Wallacia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Clarke Whelpton fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Max Freeman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruce Withy, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When Wallacia's Bruce Withy in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tresco's goalie prevented a goal. Wallacia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Wojciech Czeszejko scored to the left of an out of position Jones Rosenboom, making the score, 2-0. With his leg Jones Rosenboom managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Tresco's Edison Deeth fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Wallacia's Jones Rosenboom got control of the ball when Edison Deeth tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ian Allan fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tresco's protests and gave Ian Allan a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Tresco:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wallacia:s goal.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnold Adamson was the one to do the kick off. Edison Deeth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Jones Rosenboom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clarke Whelpton kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If Arnold Adamson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tresco's Wojciech Czeszejko in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wallacia's goalie prevented a goal. After 63 played minutes Bruce Withy rounded Tresco's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wojciech Czeszejko in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jones Rosenboom saved Wallacia from getting behind. In the 75th minute, Arnold Adamson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 82 minutes into the match, Wallacia's goal looked a bit too open when Wojciech Czeszejko came free, but Jones Rosenboom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Wallacia booed when Tresco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Ove Henriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91stth minute of the game Edison Deeth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wallacia's Jones Rosenboom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wallacia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
