Edmonds Didlock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neil Pukallus, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ringo Maunsell in the 9th minute of play forced Hellscream's goalkeeper Edmonds Didlock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brock Bodimeade struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Edmonds Didlock didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hagley. Byrne Dowsing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brock Bodimeade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Edmonds Didlock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmonds Didlock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brock Bodimeade in the 21st minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Hellscream's goal looked a bit too open when Byrne Dowsing came free, but Edmonds Didlock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Hellscream getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Dalwood Gillingwater hit a great ball. When Ringo Maunsell came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Hagley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ringo Maunsell couldn't finish the play. Brock Bodimeade scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edmonds Didlock, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brock Bodimeade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Edmonds Didlock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Brock Bodimeade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jess Fenwick who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Kevin Pearce when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brock Bodimeade made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Hagley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Byrne Dowsing to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute Jess Fenwick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Pearce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jess Fenwick in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kevin Pearce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute of the match, Byrne Dowsing got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edmonds Didlock was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Neil Pukallus charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Neil Pukallus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Hagley's Neil Pukallus got a free kick in the 69th minute. Kevin Pearce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jess Fenwick in the 74th minute of the match. Ringo Maunsell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Edmonds Didlock made a huge save. In the 79th minute, Ringo Maunsell made a precise shot to the right of Edmonds Didlock. Hellscream's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Ringo Maunsell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Edmonds Didlock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hagley's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
