Spectators: 8200 (Terracing: 6150, Seating: 1886, VIP seats: 164) Bern Pears started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Red Devils United's Barnes Hunter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clarke Whelpton in the 4th minute of play. Edison Deeth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Clarke Whelpton reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Barnes Hunter. The goal made the score 1-0. Barnes Hunter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wojciech Czeszejko, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Bruno Arkinstall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led to Tresco's Wojciech Czeszejko getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Edison Deeths short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Barnes Hunter to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Barnes Hunter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edison Deeth in the 27th minute. After 31 played minutes Red Devils United got a freekick which was hit by Brian Death. Barnes Hunter made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Edison Deeth sent off a good shot on target. If Clarke Whelpton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Michael Johnson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Max Freeman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymond James in the 38th minute of play. Tresco's Max Freeman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bern Pears in the 39th minute of play. Barnes Hunter was a little too slow when Wojciech Czeszejko got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-0. Barnes Hunter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wojciech Czeszejko in the 46th minute of play. Barnes Hunter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wojciech Czeszejko, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edison Deeth to make the kick off. Wojciech Czeszejko struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Barnes Hunter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tresco. Bruno Arkinstall kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Barnes Hunter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wojciech Czeszejko, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Edison Deeth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Barnes Hunter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Wojciech Czeszejko made a precise shot to the right of Barnes Hunter. Red Devils United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Bern Pears sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barnes Hunter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wojciech Czeszejko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Archie Clubley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ren Busst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Barnes Hunter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edison Deeth in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barnes Hunter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Barnes Hunter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wojciech Czeszejko in the 88th minute of play. Wojciech Czeszejko scored 4-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Barnes Hunter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edison Deeth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Barnes Hunter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
