Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5250, Seating: 1610, VIP seats: 140) Ernest Forrest came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by fc sturt's Roger Andrews. But to his dismay, Roger Andrews quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Gregg Gilding took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurence Rheistein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barry Hardiman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregg Gilding having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Darian Beale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dunedoo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 19th minute, Roger Andrews got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 22 played minutes Dunedoo got a freekick which was hit by Paco Jobson. Payton Kiel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernest Forrest read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute, Barry Hardiman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dunedoo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Gregg Gilding showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barry Hardiman, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Barry Hardiman struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Gregg Gilding didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dunedoo. Gregg Gilding came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Dunedoo's Barry Hardiman. But to his dismay, Barry Hardiman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Barry Hardiman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute Darian Beale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregg Gilding saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernest Forrest made an important save on a dangerous shot by Payton Kiel in the 48th minute. After the first half Dunedoo were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Payton Kiel to strike the kick off in the second half. Barry Hardiman succeeded in the game's 52nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-4. In the 56th minute, Roger Andrews hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dunedoo's Ernest Forrest played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Payton Kiel in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, fc sturt's Roger Andrews sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernest Forrest narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Barry Hardiman, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 61 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gregg Gilding was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Dunedoo's Barry Hardiman in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye fc sturt's goalie prevented a goal. 65 minutes into the game, Laurence Rheistein was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dunedoo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave fc sturt the free kick. In the 66th minute, Laurence Rheistein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregg Gilding was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Darian Beale capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Darian Beale really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Roger Andrews fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Forrest having to interfere. If Barry Hardiman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When fc sturt's Payton Kiel in 80 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ernest Forrest guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After 83 played minutes Dunedoo got a freekick which was hit by Laurence Rheistein. Barry Hardiman scored 1-6 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gregg Gilding, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
