Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) TheRockets's Philip Tarrant started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Philip Tarrant could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Lawrance Shorten made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Crimson Eagles FC's Abraham Johnston got a free kick in the 6th minute. Philip Tarrant did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Lawrance Shorten 7 minutes into the match. Lawrance Shorten made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Philip Tarrant sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as TheRockets's Philip Tarrant slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lawrance Shorten. That made the score 2-0 after 13 minutes of play. In the 15th match minute, TheRockets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Russell Szobczak to maneuver through the defense. Bryson Smalley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute Philip Tarrant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lawrance Shorten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute Porter Simpson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jamese Veitch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Philip Tarrant could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Lawrance Shorten made a huge save. TheRockets's Jamese Veitch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Porter Simpson in the 26th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Porter Simpson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Crimson Eagles FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. If Remy Fynn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Crimson Eagles FC's Lawrance Shorten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Crimson Eagles FC from getting a goal against them. Crimson Eagles FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Birrell Batterham 40 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. In the 43rd minute, Philip Tarrant got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute Philip Tarrant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lawrance Shorten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Porter Simpson kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Porter Simpson made the kick off in the second half. Porter Simpson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jamese Veitch having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Philip Tarrant left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TheRockets fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Jamese Veitch was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Porter Simpson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Porter Simpson really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. Jones Addison kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Lawrance Shorten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Tarrant in the 67th minute of play. TheRockets's Jamese Veitch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save TheRockets from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, TheRockets's Jamese Veitch got control of the ball when Jones Addison tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Kevin Conlin took a quick shot and it went in 4-3 without a chance for Jamese Veitch to make any attempt to save it. After 81 played minutes TheRockets got a freekick which was hit by Birrell Batterham. After a rather tough play, TheRockets's Olliver Diehl got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After 96 minutes, Lawrance Odd mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crimson Eagles FC and the TheRockets players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of TheRockets booed when Crimson Eagles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lawrance Odd didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lawrance Shorten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philip Tarrant in the 98th minute of the match. TheRockets's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
