Cain Mckinnes hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Bennett Warhurst might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernest Forrest. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bennett Warhurst ran back to his position shaking his head. If Andrew Odd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. Darian Beale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruce Wakefield having to interfere. Irving Goodwin's late challenge caught a Dunedoo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Irving Goodwin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Team Cone getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Irving Goodwin hit a great ball. Ernest Forrest tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Andrew Odd notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Team Cone's Bruce Wakefield. Bruce Wakefield was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Andrew Odd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. Bruce Wakefield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrew Odd, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Darian Beale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruce Wakefield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrew Odd in the 41st minute of play. The attack was good, but when Andrew Odd in the 44th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Andrew Odd might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruce Wakefield. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrew Odd stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Team Cone's zone, Andrew Odd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruce Wakefield came out of the goal and Andrew Odd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Andrew Odd's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruce Wakefield was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Andrew Odd put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bruce Wakefield. 63 minutes into the match, Darian Beale notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Team Cone's Bruce Wakefield. Bruce Wakefield was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 75th match minute, Dunedoo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurence Rheistein to maneuver through the defense. Andrew Odd blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruce Wakefield having to make a save. In the 80th match minute, Dunedoo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrew Odd to maneuver through the defense. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Team Cone! Darian Beale took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruce Wakefield. In the 87th minute, Team Cone's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Darian Beale fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Bruce Wakefield was a little too slow when Darian Beale got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 0-5. When the match had been going on for 99 minutes, Dunedoo's Darian Beale got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bruce Wakefield. When the match was over Dunedoo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Team Cone throughout the match.
