After 2 played minutes Rutgers Utd got a freekick which was hit by Bryden Miels. Bryan Potter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Murdock Reisz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Murdock Reisz managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Mongogarie's Bryan Potter fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With an all-out effort, Mongogarie's Murdock Reisz threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jake Porteus, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alfred Baxter hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The supporters of Mongogarie booed when Rutgers Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Schoenke didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Jake Porteus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 21 played minutes Rutgers Utd got a freekick which was hit by Reese Laing. In the 26th minute Bryden Miels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobie Feutrill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bryan Potter's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Murdock Reisz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Murdock Reisz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jake Porteus in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Rutgers Utd booed when Mongogarie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hal Smee didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Al Allen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rutgers Utd's Murdock Reisz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Rutgers Utd from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Al Allen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rutgers Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Al Allen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobie Feutrill breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Murdock Reisz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jake Porteus in the 41st minute of the match. Al Allen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobie Feutrill having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Mongogarie's Jake Porteus slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Murdock Reisz. That made the score 1-0 after 48 minutes of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jake Porteus made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Mongogarie's goal looked a bit too open when Al Allen came free, but Tobie Feutrill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bryden Miels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Tobie Feutrill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobie Feutrill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryden Miels in the 60th minute of play. After 65 played minutes Rutgers Utd got a freekick which was hit by Reese Laing. In the 66th minute, Jake Porteus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Murdock Reisz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 69 minutes into the match, Bryden Miels notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Mongogarie's Tobie Feutrill. Tobie Feutrill was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tobie Feutrill stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bryden Miels's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute, Al Allen fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tobie Feutrill, passed just outside the right post. A collision led to Rutgers Utd getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Albert Schoenke hit a great ball. Tobie Feutrill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryden Miels in the 88th minute of play. Murdock Reisz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryan Potter in the 90th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, Rutgers Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Hal Smee came free, but Murdock Reisz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mongogarie's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
