The audience thought a goal was coming when Damon Samuels got free with Humphrey Lewry in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to 二龙盘昌 getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Paul Lord hit a great ball. Porter Connell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasile Zburlea, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Toowoomba Snippers's goalkeeper Porter Connell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Davey Christina took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Humphrey Lewry to make any attempt to save it. In the 36th minute, Damon Samuels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Porter Connell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasile Zburlea in the 39th minute of play. Paul Lord blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Porter Connell having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vasile Zburlea was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Paul Lord ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Porter Connell was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a little luck, Toowoomba Snippers's Porter Connell got control of the ball when Vasile Zburlea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Porter Connell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Lord in the 56th minute of play. After 57 played minutes 二龙盘昌 got a freekick which was hit by Elliot Ancell. Napoleon Tipinski charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Napoleon Tipinski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Humphrey Lewry came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Toowoomba Snippers's Damon Samuels. But to his dismay, Damon Samuels quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Damon Samuels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Humphrey Lewry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, 二龙盘昌's goal looked a bit too open when Damon Samuels came free, but Humphrey Lewry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Toowoomba Snippers's goal looked a bit too open when Vasile Zburlea came free, but Porter Connell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Ethan Flesfadar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toowoomba Snippers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 二龙盘昌 the free kick. Stewart Reisz hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. A collision led to Toowoomba Snippers getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Stewart Reisz hit a great ball. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Toowoomba Snippers! When the match had been going on for 84 minutes, 二龙盘昌's Elliot Ancell got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Porter Connell. In the 87th minute, Joel Kapstas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute Davey Christina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humphrey Lewry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Porter Connell managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when 二龙盘昌's Vasile Zburlea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 91st match minute, Toowoomba Snippers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davey Christina to maneuver through the defense. 二龙盘昌's Humphrey Lewry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davey Christina in the 97th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vasile Zburlea in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Porter Connell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the 二龙盘昌 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Toowoomba Snippers.
