Bryden Miels who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Irwin Stevens when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bryden Miels got free with Irwin Stevens in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 14 minutes, Eliot Foley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inamotos and the Rutgers Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Inamotos's Eliot Foley got a free kick in the 14th minute. Bryden Miels was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. Rutgers Utd's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Murphy Greenan hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Al Allen struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Irwin Stevens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rutgers Utd. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Al Allen in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Irwin Stevens saved Inamotos from getting behind. Albert Schoenke hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. When Murphy Greenan fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inamotos's protests and gave Murphy Greenan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Murphy Greenan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bryden Miels succeeded in the game's 39th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. 46 minutes into the match, Inamotos's goalkeeper Irwin Stevens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reese Laing.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bryden Miels made a kick off. Irwin Stevens came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Rutgers Utd's Al Allen. But to his dismay, Al Allen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 58th minute Bryden Miels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irwin Stevens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inamotos were furious when Brookes Sibbold was red carded, 62 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Inamotos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rutgers Utd:s goal. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Rutgers Utd. Reese Laing stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Irwin Stevens. 3-1. 68 minutes into the match, Inamotos's goal looked a bit too open when Al Allen came free, but Irwin Stevens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute Reese Laing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irwin Stevens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Irwin Stevens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryden Miels in the 76th minute of play. Al Allen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Al Allen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rutgers Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Al Allen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Irwin Stevens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute Bryden Miels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irwin Stevens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Irwin Stevens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryden Miels in the 86th minute of the match. Irwin Stevens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryden Miels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the game, Rutgers Utd's Bryden Miels nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Irwin Stevens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1.
