An unexpectedly hard shot by Stewart Reisz in the 9th minute of play forced TheRockets's goalkeeper Jamese Veitch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in TheRockets's zone, Damon Samuels stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jamese Veitch came out of the goal and Damon Samuels tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toowoomba Snippers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Dakota Shortis scored to the left of an out of position Porter Connell, making the score, 1-1. 17 minutes into the match, TheRockets's goal looked a bit too open when Davey Christina came free, but Jamese Veitch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Porter Connell managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when TheRockets's Philip Tarrant fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. TheRockets's Jamese Veitch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damon Samuels in the 23rd minute of play. Davey Christina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jamese Veitch having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damon Samuels in the 26th minute of play forced TheRockets's goalkeeper Jamese Veitch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 51st match minute, TheRockets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dakota Shortis to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Toowoomba Snippers's Carlisle Wivell got a free kick in the 53rd minute. If Damon Samuels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 57 minutes, Dakota Shortis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TheRockets and the Toowoomba Snippers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes TheRockets got a freekick which was hit by Dakota Shortis. TheRockets's Jamese Veitch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save TheRockets from getting a goal against them. Philip Tarrant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. TheRockets's Dakota Shortis got his second yellow card of the match in the 70th minute. The referee ordered Dakota Shortis off the ground. Jamese Veitch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davey Christina in the 77th minute of the match. Birrell Batterham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remy Fynn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stewart Reisz hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The supporters of Toowoomba Snippers booed when TheRockets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olliver Diehl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Russell Szobczak kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Jamese Veitch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ethan Flesfadar, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Damon Samuels scored 2-2 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jamese Veitch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
