Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carmichael Schulze got the match started through his kick off. Brooker Teuma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Pavkovic having to interfere. Tommy Pavkovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brooker Teuma in the 5th minute of play. Tommy Pavkovic didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernie Aroege went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 14 minutes, Bernie Aroege managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Southgate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernie Aroege was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute, Brooker Teuma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Pavkovic was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 22nd minute, Bernie Aroege made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Pavkovic. Redlynch's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Redlynch's Carmichael Schulze got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eddy Ceney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Pavkovic having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddy Ceney in the 33rd minute of play forced Redlynch's goalkeeper Tommy Pavkovic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Brooker Teuma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Pavkovic was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. 48 minutes into the match, Redlynch's goal looked a bit too open when Eddy Ceney came free, but Tommy Pavkovic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Southgate were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brooker Teuma to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Redlynch's Tommy Pavkovic got control of the ball when Eddy Ceney tried to sneak it across the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Brooker Teuma recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommy Pavkovic. Brooker Teuma showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. In the 72nd minute, Southgate's Brooker Teuma ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Pavkovic. Tommy Pavkovic yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Tommy Pavkovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brooker Teuma in the 79th minute of play. Tommy Pavkovic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brooker Teuma, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Tommy Pavkovic didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 86th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernie Aroege in the 93rd minute of play forced Redlynch's goalkeeper Tommy Pavkovic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Southgate's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
