Spectators: 7057 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1937, VIP seats: 120) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ian Eversden got the match started through his kick off. Buchanan Plummer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humphry Kuskoff having to interfere. In the 12th minute Buchanan Plummer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humphry Kuskoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ben Grigson hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Bradley Notley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Humphry Kuskoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dale Huntington in the 24th minute of the match. Pierre Reynolds kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Humphry Kuskoff didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Buchanan Plummer went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 31 minutes into the game, Dale Huntington cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Humphry Kuskoff was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Keilor's Darryl Hess proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Keilor from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 51 played minutes Keilor got a freekick which was hit by Duncan Holdsworth. Darryl Hess came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Wakatu's Ian Eversden. But to his dismay, Ian Eversden quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Navin Mcjunkin's late challenge caught a Wakatu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Navin Mcjunkin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, Keilor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Navin Mcjunkin to maneuver through the defense. Darryl Hess took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradley Notley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jenkins Mcmurchie who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Humphry Kuskoff when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 70 minutes of play, Wakatu's Ian Eversden made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Darryl Hess was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Wakatu getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ian Eversden hit a great ball. Dale Huntington's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Humphry Kuskoff skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jenkins Mcmurchie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Humphry Kuskoff made a huge save. Darryl Hess made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Eversden in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute of the game, Pierre Reynolds landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. In the 88th match minute, Wakatu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Eversden to maneuver through the defense. Ian Eversden took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Darryl Hess. Darryl Hess dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. When Dale Huntington came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Keilor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dale Huntington couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Wakatu could leave the field as winners, despite Keilor having more of the ball for most of the match.
