Bray Aylwin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conner Kesi went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Nash Burtt was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 8 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the game, one of Ridgley:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Navarro Korff struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Bray Aylwin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Little River Lions. 15 minutes into the game, Ozzie Christini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ridgley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Little River Lions the free kick. In the 15th minute, Ozzie Christini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ed Balaam in the 17th minute of play forced Ridgley's goalkeeper Bray Aylwin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Little River Lions's Brye Bailey in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ridgley's goalie prevented a goal. Bray Aylwin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ed Balaam, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Ralph Matthes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Ed Balaam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th minute Conner Kesi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bray Aylwin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anthony Rhoades kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ed Balaam in the 36th minute of play forced Ridgley's goalkeeper Bray Aylwin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Ridgley's goal looked a bit too open when Ed Balaam came free, but Bray Aylwin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th match minute, Ridgley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Best Richard to maneuver through the defense. Bray Aylwin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Navarro Korff in the 42nd minute of play. Bray Aylwin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ed Balaam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 51 played minutes Ridgley got a freekick which was hit by Best Richard. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ridgley's goalkeeper Bray Aylwin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arneil Will kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After 79 minutes of play, Little River Lions's Ed Balaam made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bray Aylwin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bray Aylwin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conner Kesi, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The supporters of Little River Lions booed when Ridgley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradshaw Johnson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Ridgley's goal looked a bit too open when Conner Kesi came free, but Bray Aylwin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bray Aylwin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conner Kesi in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Ed Balaam left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Little River Lions fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Little River Lions eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
