Ed Balaam struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Nicholas Goring didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Little River Lions. Nicholas Goring took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conner Kesi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ed Balaam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Little River Lions's zone, Bradford Millard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cregan Grandison came out of the goal and Bradford Millard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Little River Lions's Cregan Grandison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradford Millard in the 32nd minute of play. If Conner Kesi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ed Balaam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Nicholas Goring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicholas Goring showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conner Kesi in the 38th minute of the match. Conner Kesi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicholas Goring having to interfere. Zack Devere hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After having played for 55 minutes, Conner Kesi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Little River Lions's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conner Kesi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Conner Kesi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Anthony Rhoades fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Little River Lions's protests and gave Anthony Rhoades a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Little River Lions getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Anthony Rhoades hit a great ball. Zack Devere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cregan Grandison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bradford Millard, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Luke Heathwood kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match.
