Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ian Eversden took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Bradley Notley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bradley Notley in the 8th minute of play forced Redlynch's goalkeeper Tommy Pavkovic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bradley Notley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Tommy Pavkovic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ned Willding charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ned Willding the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Redlynch's Ned Willding got a free kick in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Redlynch's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Eversden came free, but Tommy Pavkovic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ian Eversden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Redlynch's zone, Ian Eversden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Pavkovic came out of the goal and Ian Eversden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 26 minutes of play, Wakatu's Ian Eversden made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Pavkovic was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 32 minutes, Bradley Notley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wakatu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bradley Notley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Humphry Kuskoff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmichael Schulze, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Tommy Pavkovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Eversden in the 43rd minute of play. The Redlynch players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Wakatu were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Carmichael Schulze made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Birrell Wivell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wakatu and the Redlynch players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Wakatu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birrell Wivell to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Roger Laughton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ian Eversden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Pavkovic having to interfere. Ian Eversden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Tommy Pavkovic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bradley Notley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ian Eversden got free with Tommy Pavkovic in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
