With an all-out effort, Southgate's Ronald Parryman threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Brooker Teuma, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eddy Ceney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ronald Parryman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Malbina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlisle Brien to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute of the match Bernie Aroege sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronald Parryman skillfully saved the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Malbina's Cod Duncan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Murdock Crane narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Southgate's goal looked a bit too open when Cod Duncan came free, but Murdock Crane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Cod Duncan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malbina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cod Duncan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ronald Parryman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernie Aroege in the 33rd minute. In the 35th match minute, Malbina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cod Duncan to maneuver through the defense. Ronald Parryman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brooker Teuma in the 36th minute of the match. With a little luck, Malbina's Ronald Parryman got control of the ball when Bernie Aroege tried to sneak it across the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Bernie Aroege dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ronald Parryman, 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cod Duncan was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Brooker Teuma cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ronald Parryman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Southgate's Blake Barker managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cod Duncan in the 57 minute of the game. In the 61st minute, Brooker Teuma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronald Parryman was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brooker Teuma in the 64th minute of play forced Malbina's goalkeeper Ronald Parryman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Bernie Aroege ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronald Parryman was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Ronald Parryman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brooker Teuma, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Ronald Parryman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brooker Teuma in the 72nd minute of play. Ronald Parryman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brooker Teuma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddy Ceney in the 75th minute of play forced Malbina's goalkeeper Ronald Parryman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Bernie Aroege suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 75 minutes into the game, Russel Mcneven was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malbina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Southgate the free kick. Southgate made a substitution. Fabrizio Walsh replaced Bernie Aroege. The supporters of Southgate booed when Malbina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Russel Mcneven didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Southgate had played much better football throughout.
