Spectators: 9252 (Terracing: 6940, Seating: 2128, VIP seats: 184) Greger Lundkvist started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Philip Jury made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greger Lundkvist in the 4th minute of play. Philip Jury took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Greger Lundkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute, Remy Neich made a precise shot to the right of Philip Jury. Cosmic Pigeons's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Bradford Lander's late challenge caught a Disco Inferno FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bradford Lander helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cosmic Pigeons's Bradford Lander got a free kick in the 10th minute. Disco Inferno FC's Dale Gracey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marshall Busst in the 14th minute of play. Philip Jury showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ike Pears, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 16th play minutes Ike Pears shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Philip Jury and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 18th minute Marshall Busst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dale Gracey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Cosmic Pigeons defense, Greger Lundkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Philip Jury. The Cosmic Pigeons fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Philip Jury should have stopped the shot. After 26 minutes of play, Disco Inferno FC's Greger Lundkvist made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Philip Jury was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ike Pears in the 29th minute of play forced Cosmic Pigeons's goalkeeper Philip Jury to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Disco Inferno FC's Rick Quinane in 31 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Philip Jury guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 32 minutes into the match, Disco Inferno FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marshall Busst came free, but Dale Gracey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute of the match Stan Mackney shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Philip Jury showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Eliseo Guevara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Disco Inferno FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Guevara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the game, Remy Neich cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Philip Jury was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

Philip Jury came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Disco Inferno FC's Rick Quinane. But to his dismay, Rick Quinane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. After a defensive mix-up in Cosmic Pigeons's zone, Ike Pears stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip Jury came out of the goal and Ike Pears tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Berry Waterland hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cosmic Pigeons's zone, Stan Mackney stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip Jury came out of the goal and Stan Mackney tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ike Pears in the 61st minute of play forced Cosmic Pigeons's goalkeeper Philip Jury to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rick Quinane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Philip Jury tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philip Jury made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ike Pears in the 67th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Rick Quinane recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Philip Jury. Rick Quinane showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Philip Jury made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remy Neich in the 75th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Greger Lundkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Philip Jury. Cosmic Pigeons's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Greger Lundkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Philip Jury came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Disco Inferno FC's Aaron Mcmurchie. But to his dismay, Aaron Mcmurchie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Dale Gracey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marshall Busst's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. When Phil Haydock fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cosmic Pigeons's protests and gave Phil Haydock a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Phil Haydock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
