Spectators: 9030 (Terracing: 6921, Seating: 2100, VIP seats: 9) Knaggel FC's Bengt-Åke Kvist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Knaggel FC's zone, Abelardo Hustaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Selim Tuğbay came out of the goal and Abelardo Hustaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 4th minute, Humphry Chant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute Remy Neich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Selim Tuğbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15thth minute of the game Abelardo Hustaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Knaggel FC's Selim Tuğbay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th minute, Bengt-Åke Kvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Hustaz in the 19th minute of play forced Knaggel FC's goalkeeper Selim Tuğbay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ike Pears in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Selim Tuğbay saved Knaggel FC from getting behind. In the 25th minute Humphry Chant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dale Gracey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Selim Tuğbay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Hustaz in the 26th minute of play. Disco Inferno FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stan Mackney in the 27th minute. Stan Mackney made a great header on Disco Inferno FC's corner, it was just that Knaggel FC's Selim Tuğbay managed to reach the ball for a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Ike Pears managed to get in a good position for a shot. Disco Inferno FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ike Pears was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Selim Tuğbay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Knaggel FC's Selim Tuğbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ike Pears in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute Ike Pears shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Selim Tuğbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ike Pears took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Selim Tuğbay. Selim Tuğbay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Abelardo Hustaz sped through Knaggel FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Selim Tuğbay. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abelardo Hustaz in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Selim Tuğbay saved Knaggel FC from getting behind. Bengt-Åke Kvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dale Gracey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bengt-Åke Kvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abelardo Hustaz made a kick off. Ike Pears scored 1-3 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Selim Tuğbay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ike Pears fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selim Tuğbay having to interfere. Disco Inferno FC's Abelardo Hustaz got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Selim Tuğbay was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ike Pears showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 66 minute of play. Selim Tuğbay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Hustaz in the 69th minute of play. Stan Mackney hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute Disco Inferno FC were awarded a corner. Stan Mackney went to the cornerflag to take it. Disco Inferno FC's Stan Mackney was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Selim Tuğbay in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Knaggel FC's Selim Tuğbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Hustaz in the 78th minute of play. When Humphry Chant came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Knaggel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humphry Chant couldn't finish the play. Ike Pears who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Selim Tuğbay when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Disco Inferno FC's Dale Gracey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnes Garing in the 93rd minute of play. A collision led to Knaggel FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Bengt-Åke Kvist hit a great ball. The Disco Inferno FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Disco Inferno FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
