Olly Johnson might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Selim Tuğbay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olly Johnson ran back to his position shaking his head. 2 minutes into the match, Knaggel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Olly Johnson came free, but Selim Tuğbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Drew Keato in the 3rd minute of play forced Knaggel FC's goalkeeper Selim Tuğbay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Knaggel FC's Selim Tuğbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olly Johnson in the 6th minute of play. Selim Tuğbay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesare Antonacci in the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olly Johnson in the 11th minute of play forced Knaggel FC's goalkeeper Selim Tuğbay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Knaggel FC's Selim Tuğbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesare Antonacci in the 13th minute of play. Selim Tuğbay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olly Johnson, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The supporters of Cosmic Pigeons booed when Knaggel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Åke Kvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Knaggel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cesare Antonacci came free, but Selim Tuğbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Selim Tuğbay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Cosmic Pigeons's zone, Bengt-Åke Kvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlisle Schultz came out of the goal and Bengt-Åke Kvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Humphry Chant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 minutes of play, Cosmic Pigeons's Cesare Antonacci made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Selim Tuğbay was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 34 played minutes Knaggel FC got a freekick which was hit by Lawrence Bonnison. 36 minutes into the match, Payton Todman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Selim Tuğbay. Knaggel FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Payton Todman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Selim Tuğbay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Drew Keato in the 40th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Knaggel FC defense, Drew Keato kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Selim Tuğbay. The Knaggel FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Selim Tuğbay should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bengt-Åke Kvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Olly Johnson came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the Cosmic Pigeons fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olly Johnson couldn't finish the play. In the 52nd minute, Drew Keato left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cosmic Pigeons fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Cesare Antonaccis short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Selim Tuğbay to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cesare Antonacci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Selim Tuğbay made a huge save. After 60 minutes Knaggel FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Payton Todman who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Cosmic Pigeons booed when Knaggel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bart Thorne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cosmic Pigeons's Payton Todman got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Cesare Antonacci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cesare Antonacci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 played minutes Cosmic Pigeons got a freekick which was hit by Cesare Antonacci. Selim Tuğbay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cole Bundy in the 77th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Cole Bundy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Selim Tuğbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st match minute, Cosmic Pigeons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobie Babbage to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Barnes Garing got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
