Eden Hanslow was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eden Hanslow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Huff in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to Thoona getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Berne Chant hit a great ball. When Darian Dobson fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coventry City FC's protests and gave Darian Dobson a yellow card for diving instead. Darian Dobson kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 21 minutes, Angelo Callaghan made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Coventry City FC's Eden Hanslow tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Callaghan in the 29th minute of play forced Coventry City FC's goalkeeper Eden Hanslow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eden Hanslow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Callaghan, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Eden Hanslow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berne Chant in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 36th minute Berne Chant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eden Hanslow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Jackson kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Thoona's Angelo Callaghan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eden Hanslow made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After some careless play in the Coventry City FC defense, Angelo Callaghan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eden Hanslow. The Coventry City FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eden Hanslow should have stopped the shot. Berne Chant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Eden Hanslow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Coventry City FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Thoona were winning 0-5.

The wind increased when Angelo Callaghan made the kick off in the second half. Berne Chant could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Eden Hanslow made a huge save. Eden Hanslow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Huff in the 58th minute of play. Eden Hanslow made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Angelo Callaghan sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Berne Chant could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Eden Hanslow however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Thoona booed when Coventry City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darian Dobson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Coventry City FC's Jeffers Loch was substituted for Lawrance Sobczak. After 66 played minutes Coventry City FC got a freekick which was hit by Darian Dobson. Eden Hanslow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Callaghan in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Huff in the 72nd minute of play forced Coventry City FC's goalkeeper Eden Hanslow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berne Chant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 89 minutes into the game, Archie Waller was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coventry City FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thoona the free kick. In the 89th minute, Archie Waller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thoona's Biddle Beer couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 89th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Coventry City FC. Thoona's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
