Broderick Ceney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Marques in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Daniel Watson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Broderick Ceney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Watson in the 12th minute of play forced Melbourne 007's goalkeeper Broderick Ceney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melbourne 007's Broderick Ceney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Watson in the 14th minute of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Rudy Gummow who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 0Fubar You's Logan Carr was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Broderick Ceney didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Marques went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Logan Carr stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rudy Gummow's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Broderick Ceney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Watson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brye Awage kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Rex Wenham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Logan Carr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudy Gummow in the 45th minute of play. After some careless play in the 0Fubar You defense, Rudy Gummow kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Logan Carr. The 0Fubar You fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Logan Carr should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rudy Gummow made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudy Gummow in the 53rd minute of play forced 0Fubar You's goalkeeper Logan Carr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Rudy Gummow cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Logan Carr was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62nd minute, Eddie Rowdon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Broderick Ceney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Watson in the 67th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Melbourne 007's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Watson came free, but Broderick Ceney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 0Fubar You made a substitution. Rodney Devere was slow to take the kick. During this time Melbourne 007's players had a chance to rest. Melbourne 007's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
